Spinoff episodes I have heard over the years from this show were...

"Nell And The Kid"

"The Center"

"The Purse Snatcher"

Some people tell me "The Purse Snatcher" wasn't a Spinoff attempt, but it definitely looks it as the bulk of the show is about the Greek restaurant and the two guys working at it.

GAB was not good when it did not focus on Nell or the family and that is why the spin off attmpts did not do well. I was watching that episode called The Center and to me that episode was horrible and what was the point of showing Nell if she was not a main part. If memory serves me correctly she was at the first few minutes of that episode and the last few but not in the bulk of that episode so I thought they wasted her in that episode and because of her awesome talent she deseved more screen time.

I noticed that in "The Center" the ending theme sounded slightly different, with a few beats left out of it. Did anyone else notice that? Like the first half before the "Gimme A Break's" were sung. it was as if they just used the original season 3 opening theme and took out the words, as those stronger notes they dropped from the ending theme of this episode were not present, which they are in all the other season 3-4 ending themes.

I don't know why it was like that. It sounded as if it was done on purpose like that for the new series because they used parts of the ending theme throughout the episode.

Overall, all the opening themes were not cut off as they usually are in re-runs. Usually the first note or 2 in the themes are missing when they re-air the episodes on TV.

I would love to hear the entire season 3-4/ 5-6 ending themes, if there is a full version of both as there are full versions of season 1-2 ending themes.

On the DVD releases, "Christmas In New York" has a really long extended ending theme. But there is never a FULL ending theme to complete the same pacing of the opening theme song with two rounds of "Gimme A Break's!" sung and then all the singers singing it together to end the ending theme. They never did that, I see.
