I wanted to refrain from calling these 2 people bad traders, as I tend to reserve that for the people that haven't sent at all. But, both of these traders have done many things that would make it unwise to trade with them. If doing a trade with these people, please use extreme caution.

1. Erik "Taz" Mokracek.

Here is the story of my dealings with him.

i contacted him about a trade a few years ago. he wanted practically all of my collection. Needless to say, I was relunctant to conduct a trade that large with someone I haven't traded with before, so I asked him to scale his want list down. Didn't hear back. A few months later, I decided to contact him again because he was one of the few active traders that had what i want (83/86 press your luck episodes). he pared down his want list a bit, but still wanted an awful lot from me. i talked him into doing an 8 hour trade to start, then if both of us were satisfied, we would do more trading. I sent my end the next day, IIRC. Once he got what i sent him, i asked when he would be able to send my stuff, and he replied 'don't rush me." I said that I wasn't rushing him, i just simpy asked when my stuff would go out. he said that he was busy transfering the shows i sent him to dvd, which didn't answer my question at all. every week or 2, i would e-mail him asking where my stuff was, and i would get the lamest excuses. said he was busy taping GSN and walking dogs. he was putting his wants ahead of me. finally after 5 weeks, he sent me a tape full of Monty Hall beat the clock. Not a single show i asked for. i asked him why he didn't sent me what I asked, he said he couldn't transfer episodes that were taped in LP. I wasn't sure why he couldn't do that, but even if it was true, i told him he should have let me pick out replacements. he e-mailed me back with a single word. "sorry."

a while later, he sent me an e-mail asking me to trade with him more often, and i told him i would never trade with him again in am million years. i'm sure he is autistic, or has some similar affliction. i don't hold that against him, but is perhaps an explanation for his behavior. i don't think he graps the concepts of trading. i decided against listing him as a bad trader due to his condition, but issues some trader warnings. several people responded that his site was very odd, with contradictory statements.

So that is the story. A little while ago, I was contacted by somebody i had a good trade with who is also a facebook friend. He said that he too had a similar experience with Erik. He said that Erik is taking forever with the tapes, that Erik said "don't rush me" and "let's hold off on this trade for a while" when asked for an update (Erik has already received his end of the trade), and that Erik has had weird requests.

Last I knew, Erik has 5 e-mail addresses. If you would like to take a look at his extremely bizarre site, it is here.

2. Jason Ouimette

Jason's first shipment to me never arrived. He claimed his wife sent it. It doesn't sound like he used delivery confirmation on it, or at least he never informed me that he did. His second shipment did arrive to me many weeks after he received my end, although parts of it were missing and there were some extremely bad edits (in one instance, the dvd cut off right in the middle of the main event wrestling match, and continued on the another disc.)

Jason then proceeded to contact me on a daily basis with updates in regards to his new items that he got in, and things of that nature. Now I certainly don't mind of being contacted once in a while to hear of updates to somebody's have lists, but being contacted every day is a bit excessive

Then he unfriended me for no apparent reason on facebook. Now granted, he has the ability to do that, but it's just a sad footnote to what was a lackluster trade on his end. He told me he recently changed his site, it is here.

I love this rule on Erik's site.....
