when buying or owning dvds, do you have more movies or tv series?

i don't own many dvds but the ones i have are all tv shows. i had movies before, but i traded them in for money, because they were short-lived.

it's like when the movie has finished that's it, and often you are left wondering what happens next. tv shows esp sitcoms are different because it is continuous and you want to find out more as the series unfolds.

there's also that relationship the viewer has with tv characters that is different to movie characters; it's as if you have known them for as long as you have.

which one do you have and prefer the most at home: tv shows or movies?

I rarely buy movies. Most of my DVDs are TV shows.

I have mainly TV shows on DVD although I do have a handful of movies.

Not sure what the ratio is. I have some movies but a lot of them are documentaries. I also have TV shows, as well as music related videos, old commericals and the like.

I have about half and half. DVD's of movies have a lot of great special features like commentaries, deleted scenes and other things that give insight to the movie business and creative processes behind movies.

i'd say my collection is 80% TV shows and 20% movies.

I have more TV Shows but I do buy movies that arent shown on TV such as Roller Boogie, Thank God Its Friday, Cry Uncle, Breezy, Sooner Or Later etc...

I definitely have more movies.

My collection consists of a few movies, but mostly TV shows. I have HBO and Encore, so most movies I usually watch from channels.

I have more movies. Of course that's because a lot of the movies I bought were for my sister. I have both movies and tv shows on dvd.

I own A LOT of DVDs.

I own more movies than television shows on DVD. It's also not just movies I have individual documentaries, concert DVDs, and the like.


On a side note my movie Blu-ray collection has been growing. I haven't bought any TV-on-Blu-ray as of yet.

I usually get movies since TV DVD's are more $, but I haven't really bought many DVD's lately.
