A couple days ago and I got a picture of Rue in the mail, it's her in the feathered robe from her bio's cover (the hardcover version which SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED FOR THE NEWER PRINT TOO ;-)). And it was signed. I did write to her after she fell ill in the winter, and I hope this is a good sign she saw the letter. Wonder if she did some pics when she felt well enough?

Either way, this is a great way to remember a great woman! It's almost like a miracle. Rue's pic now is displayed proudly in a frame along with Betty's autograph.

I got it on my Facebook page, think it's under my wall photos. (I go under my full name, James Fabiano, there.) I kind of figured it might be something like that...but still there's something special about it and like I said, a great way to remember Rue. I just hope she got to see my letter and knew what I thought of her. As I hope for the others who sent her something at that time.
