Does anyone recall the segment where a plane supposedly crashed, I think it was the in the Northeast somewhere, and a woman was in her house, when she heard a plane flying close, and looked out her window or outside.

I'm pretty sure it was around WWII. It wasn't the Daly City blimp segment.

I recall someone could hear a plane motor...and it may have taken place during or before WWII.

Might this be the segment on L'Oiseau Blanc, which was, perhaps, the first plane to make it across the Atlantic, non-stop, just prior to Lindbergh? It supposedly crashed in Maine.
