MARQUETTE, Mich. -- A jury in Michigan's Upper Peninsula has convicted a couple in the attempted extortion of actor John Stamos after a trial full of allegations about cocaine, strippers and unflattering photos.
Federal prosecutors say Allison Coss and Scott Sippola demanded $680,000 from the "ER" and "Full House" star or they would sell six-year-old embarrassing pictures to the tabloids. The FBI says there were no bad photos.
Coss and Sippola were found guilty Thursday of conspiracy and using e-mail to threaten a person's reputation. Coss met Stamos in Florida in 2004 when she was 17. Stamos denied using drugs.

And when it's time for sentencing I'm sure these two will be asking the judge to "Have Mercy!"

John Stamos ‘Shocked & Perplexed’ By Couple Who Attempted To Extort Him
FIRST PUBLISHED: July 16, 2010 11:30 AM EDT
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Following the conviction of a Michigan couple who attempted to extort $680,000 from John Stamos, the actor is speaking out and blasting the couple.
“I am shocked and perplexed how individuals could fabricate so many false stories in an effort to defend a crime. I agreed to be a witness for a federal criminal prosecution and endured countless false accusations about my behavior and appropriateness,” the actor said in a statement posted via his Twitter account on Friday.
“The allegations made regarding an inappropriate relationship are completely untrue. These slanderous allegations to smear my reputation were part of their defense to redirect attention away from the federal crime of extortion,” he continued in the statement. “There was no hot tub, no drugs, no nudity and nothing sexual in nature involved in my friendship with this woman. They lied about everything from a pregnancy to compromising photos.”
Adding, “I’m grateful these two criminals have been found guilty and I plan to go home to be with my family and friends and prepare to get back to work.”
On Thursday, a jury convicted Allison Coss and Scott Sippola of conspiracy and using e-mail to threaten a person’s reputation. According to the Associated Press, federal prosecutors said the couple demanded money from Stamos by threatening to sell photos of him with strippers and cocaine to various tabloids – photos they never had.
The AP reported that Coss met Stamos in Florida in 2004 when she was 17
