I had to laugh at June and Ward being upset with Wally in the episode with his funky hairstyle. Can you imagine what they would do if he walked in the door with a tattoo, or his nose pierced or his pants below his butt??

Those were definitely simpler and more innocent times!

Ward would never tolerate such behavior.

In the begining it was more June. The more she made a fuss the more Ward had to go along with her. It seems if she is offended by anything the boys do and Ward seems to look at it as just "boys being boys" she manages to change his mind. I had noticed that in several episodes throughout the series.
At first he would take things in stride and try to reassure her with telling her that everything was going to be alright and then the next thing we know he's reversing himself. IMO, that's part of Ward's charm because he cares so deeply about making sure June is at ease, but I had thought about it before and figured it would make a great topic.

Yeah, Ward can always relate. He seems to always think back when he was Wally or Beav's age and remember his own similar behavior

I'm not sure old fashioned is the word I would use.....more like uptight, especially when Martha was visiting. Geez talk about walking on eggshells.
