I could say a lot of things, but then I'd be banned for life!! But the fact that he has the audacity to say these things about his hometown and the fans who did nothing but love and support him right from the get-go is infuriating.

As for "ignorant"? Well, Mr. Lord of No Rings, it takes one to know one!!!

I still love this pic:

I'm calling this curse "The Betrayal"...since LeButthead decided to play with someone who'll give him the rings.

In 2003, we hope he would twist his ankle. Now, we hope he twists BOTH of his ankles!

Hey - he won't even marry his longtime girlfriend and mother of his kids - so apparently he has an aversion to ANY kind of ring.

Lebron will get what is coming to him at some point.

It may not happen as quickly as one would like, but "karma" eventually will catch up with him. Either he won't be happy in Miami, or he will suffer a major injury etc.

You're right - the grass is not always greener on the other side!

Does this situation compare to when Favre went from the Packers to the Vikings?

The difference is that Farve never wanted to leave Green Bay. He was pushed out. After that ,he stated that he wanted to go to the Vikings. I don't think it's quite as bad. LeBron practically held Cleveland hostage for months pretending like they had a chance to get him to come back and then he went on National tv to tell them see ya. As for Farve , he's more annoying than anything. Every year we have to sit through the will he or won't he retire saga. I think Packer fans will forgive him in time. He actually did win them a SB. I don't think Cleveland fans will ever forgive LeBron though.

He may even top Art Modell as the most hated man in Ohio sports - not just Cleveland. That's no mean feat!!

How come the NBA isn't reprimanding LeBron for admitting that he quit the playoffs?

Re: Lebron...

I never watch award shows of any kind, but tonight I was flipping through the channels during some commercials on "Hannity" and the ESPYs were on ESPN... I never watch them, because sports award shows are even more stupid than TV/Movie/Music award shows...

Anyway, Seth Myers (I think that's his name, he does Weekend Update on SNL) happened to be on stage when I hit ESPN, and I like his comedy, so I watched it...

He made a great point which will give Cavs fans some hope (or at least, it should)... he said:

"Every team that has EVER ... won an NBA championship... did so withOUT ... Lebron James"

I was ROFL

I think that's what a LOT of people want to know. That's as bad as anything any referee has done... the worst thing any professional athlete could have said about him was that he quit on the field/court/rink... once a player does that, his teammates will have a hard time ever trusting him again.

I know I wouldn't trust him ever again. Faking an elbow injury (which I admit I found fishy from the start), and then admitting that you quit to the entire world - if I had gone to any of those playoff games, I'd be demanding a refund. He's so bent on winning a championship, he's so stupid to realize that had he given 110% in that Boston series, the Cavs might have beaten them and moved on to the finals - they MAY have gotten a ring (but probably not, this IS Cleveland, the most cursed city in professional sports history).

Give me a journeyman/workhorse kind of player any day - not flashy or a superstar per se - but someone who always hustles, even when hurt, giving 110% on and off the field/court...all the time. In Cleveland, those I think of that match that description would be Mark Price, Bernie Kosar, Andre Thornton, Kenny Lofton, Omar Vizquel, Sandy Alomar, Kevin Seitzer, Orel Hershiser, Dennis Martinez...THAT'S the type of athlete I'd want playing for my team - someone you can always count on.

LeBron may be a gazillionaire and has been ever since he left high school - but he also proves that no matter how much money you have, you can't buy class. I think we all know that LeBron has no idea what class is.

LOL@those street signs in Akron dissing Lebron hahahahahahahahahahaha. Catlover79, thanks for posting that picture because i've never seen that before. That's funny LOL. How can he call Cleveland fans ignorant when they supported him the whole time he was in Cleveland? I'm starting to see a different side of him and i don't like it. I thought he was a nice guy but now i see he's not like that because if he was a nice guy, he would've stayed in Cleveland instead of joining his buddy Dwayne Wade so he could be on his team.

I changed my mind about what i said about Lebron. He's right that the Cavs fans are ignorant and he didn't quit on the Cavs in last year's playoffs. If it wasn't for him, the Cavs wouldn't have gotten as far as they did. Ya'll see how bad they are without him LOL. It would've been nice if he would've stayed with Cleveland forever because i think he could've won some championships in Cleveland if management had gotten him another star player. I blame management for him leaving because they didn't get another star player. I wish Carlos Boozer would've stayed with Cleveland because i think him and Lebron could've gotten some championships together. Some athletes are impatient and all they care about is money. Look at all the money Carlos got when he went to Utah and he never got a championship with them.
