Dave Mustaine's autobiography, "Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir," is set to be released in the U.S. on August 3rd, 2010. The U.K. edition, "Mustaine: A Life In Metal," will hit book stores in the U.K. on Sept 30th, 2010. In the book, the guitarist and founder of Megadeth talks about his life in music and tells the inside story of two of the most influential heavy metal bands.

I always loved that picture of Dave and James Hetfield getting baked on beer.
Those days are long gone for Dave Mustaine, but it pictured perfectly the rock and roll revelry of those times. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Dave stayed on in Metallica, but we wouldn't have Megadeth then.
Interesting story I read about Dave's dealings with the occult back in the day.
He says he placed curses on two people, and they came true. :eek: He says it took him twenty years to undo the curses, and says that it had affected him as well. Since he has become a Christian in the past several years, he says he won't do the song "The Conjuring" because of that.
