Comic-Con: "V" Round-Up

-- Morena Baccarin's Anna has a very "slow and devious" plan for mankind; the red sky is the first strike, and the meaning of that ominous coloring will be revealed in the first episode of the season premiere.

-- Though Jack started out as a man of peace, his main challenge this year will be maintaining that morality. The show is interested in pursuing what happens when mankind's moral compasses (such as priests) start losing their morality.

-- Baccarin thinks that Anna losing her babies may have shocked her more than she could've anticipated, and brought her closer to humanity and feeling real emotions than she wants to be.

-- Scott Wolf instead suggests that Anna's connection to humanity has much more to do with her attraction to Chad. He also says that people may be surprised to discover which side Chad ends up fighting on.

-- We'll meet Anna's mother, Diana, in the first episode back (and see her in her natural habitat), and later meet a very radical group of the fifth column who have strikingly different means of dealing with the war.

-- Charles Mesure is officially a season regular for series 2, and he'll be forced to pick a side in the upcoming battle.

-- Lisa will look towards Erica as a nurturing mother figure, while Tyler will be drawn closer to Anna; we'll find out exactly why Anna is so obsessed with Tyler, and whether either woman will use the other's child as leverage in the war.

-- We'll also find out the Visitors' exact plans for humanity, which are apparently "very creepy."

-- The hybrid baby will play a pivotal role now and in the future, as it's ammo in Anna's arsenal and leverage against Ryan.

-- The show will enjoy a global scope in season two, with footage shot in Europe and Asia.
