I've been watching Season One of The Virginian and couldn't help
noticing that, in the opening title sequence, the Virginian (James Drury) rides
a white horse. But in the episodes, he always rides a brown horse. Does
anyone know of an explanation for the discrepancy? (I'm assuming the title
was filmed first and later Drury's mount was replaced (for whatever reason)
and they simply never bothered to reshoot the Season One opening.)
