Exclusive: Gloria Reuben to Guest-Star on "Drop Dead Diva"
Jul 7, 2010
by Natalie Abrams
Gloria Reuben is a "Drop Dead Diva". At least, she will be when she guest-stars in the Lifetime series.
In the season finale, the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress will play Professor Kathy Miller, Jane (Brooke Elliott) and Grayson's (Jackson Hurst) latest client, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
"Professor Miller is a brilliant geneticist suffering from a terminal illness," executive producer Josh Berman says. Miller wants to be cryogenically frozen before her body and mind deteriorates as her illness progresses.
"Jane and the team use cutting-edge law to represent their client, only to find out that Professor Miller has one big secret she's never told anyone," says Berman.
Reuben, 46, recently starred in TNT's "Raising the Bar" and previously on "ER" and "1-800-Missing".
