Mike Judge Working on "Beavis and Butt-Head" Revival?

Back before Mike Judge filmed the cult classic workplace comedy Office Space and hit it big with the beloved FOX animated staple "King of the Hill", the director rose to fame alongside two of the cultural icons of the 1990's, "Beavis and Butt-Head".
Well, don't look now, but it's time to break your flannel wardrobe out of storage, because it appears America's favorite dumbasses may be about to return.
Yes, you read that right: According to Examiner, Judge is currently hard at work fleshing out a whopping 30 new episodes of "Beavis and Butt-Head" with the intent of bringing the MTV series back to prime time.
The series, which features Judge as the voices of both title characters, would retain its "original ghetto-tech aesthetic," but feature modern music videos, which most would agree are more than ripe for some intense sardonic mockery.
Of course, there's one fairly large catch, which is the fact that MTV hasn't actually given the greenlight to the series. Still, while that would seem to be a major step in the process, the lack of a deal apparently isn't stopping Judge from proceeding with his reboot, meaning that should MTV pass, it's possible the series could end up on a different network or perhaps even online.
