I've been trying to remember this case I saw about a masked man that assaulted an individual while in their car (?).

The assailant was described as having a distinct limp while running as he chased the individual away. The limp was emphasized heavily in the episode and I was hoping someone could provide me with any relevant info.

It kind of sounds like the Kevin Hughes case, which happened in March 1989 in Nashville, TN. Run a forum search on it and see if anything jogs your memory there.

Yeah. I thought that was the case as well when I caught one of Ferina's UM episodes on Spike TV but it wasn't, unless they left out the limp because the case got solved.

I was pretty young when I first saw it on Lifetime so maybe my memory is a little fuzzy and this is in fact the case. Thanks for your help.

After re-watching the original clip, and realizing the footage was intact, I don't think this is the case.

I wish I could remember more about it. But the most distinctive memory I have is the mention of the assailant's limp. I'd like to think the case did not revolve around murder and that the victim was a woman, but I'm not sure of these last two details.

Any info would help.
