Does any one remember the story about the midwest bank robber that held up a bank someplace out mid west and he lost his notes in the parking garage and took a hostage out of state. What was the episode name and the bank robbers name...trying to look it up to see if i can find info on it...thanks

Hi - search "John Grundhofer" here on the forums. I think that's the name of the bank president you are referring to. I don't remember the goofy adbuctor's name, though.

Don't you mean who they thought was the abductor? The guy they iterviewed in the segment? HE denied being involved and they said they had no evidence even though he looked a lot like the abductor.

Did they ever prove he was the one who did it?

No. John Grundhofer was the bank president:

I think XCal got that part. It took me a second to read the context into XCal's question, but I think what he/she was asking is:

"Don't you mean who they *thought* was the abductor?"

I don't remember much about this case (I haven't rewatched it in a while, since it just never really resonated with me that much). But I do remember them interviewing some guy in the segment that could have (or could not have been) the guy.

Oh, yes, I understand what was said now. Sorry about that, XCal.
