Greetings,
I want to let everyone know about the wonderful experiences that I have had at sitcomsonline.com. There is certainly a wealth of information on just about any era of TV show imaginable.
However, a problem in Firefox is a pop-under that appears only when going to this site for the first time. A pop-under is a little different than a pop-up, because while a pop-up just shows up, a pop-under waits until you have taken action on a site and than shows up.
At any rate, what happens is that Firefox says it has blocked a pop-up from the site. But when you click on any part of the site, the pop under appears minimized in the Windows Task bar the URL, I have masked for security, replacing the "t"'s with X's to prevent accidental clickage.
The link is:
hxxp;//cdnoptmd.com.
Note that I have the Web of Trust, WOT plug in for Firefox and it gives this banner ad a poor reputation. Also, note that the ad does not even show up in IE8. I submitted a report about this pop-under to Mozilla for them to look at it. If this ad is a sponsor, it really needs to go. Sometimes good companies are being placed in the title of the pop-under ad, like Net Flix. But this pop-under is a dangerous site. For whatever reason, Firefox is not blocking it, but IE is.
Some security leak between Firefox's pop-up blocker is letting this ad get through. Thankfully WOT gives me a notice about the bad ad. but some people might accidentally click on the ad and get infected. Just a heads up.
