Plans for a third instalment of Sex And The City have been axed after the sequel was savaged by critics.
Sex And The City 2, which is set in Abu Dhabi, was accused being "anti-Muslim" and performed disappointingly at the box office.
On its opening weekend it came in third in the US taking in $37million compared to the first movie which raked in $57million.
In its review, Entertainment Weekly wrote: "SATC 2 transformed four once mildly likeable characters into rancid, obliviously overentitled grotesques."
Grazia reports that plans for a third movie have now been shelved, with the news coming as a blow to actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.
