In the color Dick York episode shown on WGN today Aunt Clara's old flame Ocki visits, and she thinks she caused a power outage.Question:In that good episode(the walking shoes at the end,is funny),and other color episodes Samantha is somewhat impatient with Aunt Clara. That's weird. But It's great that Elizabeth Montgomery (Samantha)stuck up for Aunt Clara ,and accepted Marion Lorne's well-deserved Emmy posthumously after Marion Lorne died. A great tribute from one classy lady(Elizabeth Montgomery)to another(the late Marion Lorne).

I never knew E.M. accepted Marion's emmy award. I sure wish I could see a video of that!

Me, too - or at least a picture!! When Alice Pearce won her Emmy (posthumously) in 1966, it was her widower, Paul Davis, who accepted the award.

And Elizabeth Montgomery also presented the Emmy to Paul Davis on Alice Pearce's behalf.

Elizabeth Montgomery also presented in 1970 and we all saw her in that clip from the 1967 Emmy's being introduced as one of the nominees.
I believe that was from the Dick Van Dyke Show DVD set.

Really? Which season of TMTMS on DVD was that clip shown?

On further Claraistic reflection it was the 1967 Emmy's that Mary Tyler Moore won for the Dick Van Dyke Show where Liz was seen in the audience.

It's also noteworthy that the only Emmy Agnes ever won was for a guest spot on The Wild, Wild West - despite being nominated 6 times for Endora.

What award is Agnes Moorehead holding in the picture?

Are the awards that Marion Lorne and Alice Pierce won posthumously, the only emmys to go to Bewitched?

Oh, yes thanks for sharing the pics!!!!!

That is the Emmy Agnes Moorehead won for The Wild Wild West.
Bill Asher also won an emmy for best Director & the show won a special
emmy for Sisters at Heart.

That is 4 in all but it should have been more like 24 but the Emmy's were rigged & selected by a small panel of cronies not by their peers who only did the nominations.

I always thought it totally unfair that Liz, Agnes and especially Dick York never took home Emmys for their work on the show. They had more work than anyone and they carried the series. Just a shame that DY doesn't have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame like Liz and Aggie do. I mean - why does Ryan Seacrest have a star and Dick York doesn't??? Is that justice???

That grates on my nerves too, he's done way more than Ryan Seacrest ever has. He's just an announcer basically. I wish they would release the emmy awards from the year of all our favorite shows it would be a blast.

I think The TV Land Awards should give Bewitched some kind of honor. But that show doesn't tend to pay homage to departed tv stars or tv show casts where the majority of the cast has past away. I think the one exception is Lucille Ball, for all her shows.

But Bewitched should have a special award. Erin Murphy could accept it.

^ I agree - plus Bill Asher and Bernard Fox (Dr. Bombay), health permitting.
