Don't you just love when you recognize someone from Mama's Family in another show?!

I was watching Cheers just now, an episode titled, "Don't shoot... I'm only the Psychiatrist!" when I saw a guy I thought I recognized, though he was a bit older. Remember Michael, Sonya's on-again off-again boyfriend(for a couple eps), well on that episode of Cheers he plays Lester, one of Frasier Crane's patients. I only came in at the tail end of the episode, but he seemed to have a fairly decent part in it.

I was trying to figure out where I recognized him from, and then I just saw his face again and envisioned him saying, "Sonyaaaa, Pleassseeeee!" and that clinched it!:lol:

Then I found out his name and looked him up on IMDB and sure enough, it was him both times.
Sorry no pics, but his name is Steve Nevil if you are so inclined to look him up. :)

I have seen several others on other shows too. The guy that played the lawyer for Fran's Will was in another show- I think it was the facts of life or something.
You dont see that so much these days, where the contracts are binding for character Actors not being able to appear on other network shows.

Of course Robert Mandan who played actor Leslie LaMoyne on the episode "Tri-States Most Wanted" was also one of the leadfs on "Soap".

Liz Torres who played Madame Rita was a regular on Gilmore Girls( Miss Patty)She also was on All In The Family for a short time. Or was it Archie Bunker's Place? I think she was renting a room at the Bunker's.

It was All In The Family. She played a live-in maid named Theresa.

Mr. Hoftstetler(sp?), yeah! I don't know if he was on The Facts Of Life, but I do know he was on Get A life, the show with Chris Elliott. He played the husband of a woman that Chris was "escorting" while her husband was laid up in the hospital. And he really kicked Chris's butt at the end there. :lol:
