This Halloween-themed color episode was very funny,and had plenty of irony in it.By that,I mean you rarely -if ever -see Samantha,Darrin(Dick York) and Uncle Arthur on the same side-Darrin ACTUALLY approved of the party which Endora gave to her guests.And the late Sandra Gould's performance as Gladys in this one was great-on par with the wonderful perfomance given by the late Alice Pearce the black and white episodes Gladys.ESPECIALLY in the scene at the beginning,when Gladys rings the Stephens'doorbell,Samantha sees her,somewhat irritated,and zaps Gladys to her OWN house,and Abner answers:Gladys:(befuddled when Abner answers):"How did YOU get here"?And it was nice to see Samantha and Uncle Arthur working together.And ANOTHER funny scene was when Darrin was being seduced by that woman guest who was actually a cat.And still ANOTHER very funny scene involved that congressman and his assistant rang the Stephens'doorbell,Uncle Arthur zapped ,and they ended up not in the house,but in back.Then when they left the back yard,Uncle Arthur zapped again,and they ended up in the front yard.Lots of great moments in this one.

It was a very fun episode. Always great when Endora and Uncle Arthur appear in the same episode.

There was one Dick Sargent Halloween ep from Season 6: "To Trick or Treat or Not to Trick or Treat". It was OK, but I don't think it was anything great.

Getting back to "Twitch or Treat", it was indeed a fun episode. I loved it when the councilman and his aide kept trying to get into the house (:rofl:) and Endora's "'Twas the Night Before Halloween" poem that kept getting interrupted by Uncle Arthur - hilarious!! :rofl:

And at the end,when Endora turned the statue of venus Venus de Milo into Arthur,it was also somethging you don't see on "Bewitched"very often:Sam,Darrin,and Endora all 3 laughing .

It was indeed a great, fun episode all aound. Too bad Endora never got to finish the poem - we never did find out what happened to the odd mortal children with visions of trick or treat in their heads. :crazy: :lol:
