I am shocked

These idiots who run the networks actually did something right. They gave long overdue honors and respect to Dick Clark.

It's great to see Dick Clark get his due and it's just as great to see him again on TV, looking as well as possible (and much better than I'll look at that age, assuming I even make it that far).

What a legend. We'll never see his like again.

But I think they forgot to mention that he was ALSO a game show host, and won Emmys for hosting "The$10,$20, and "The $25,000 Pyramid",and hosted other game shows as well:"The Challengers",the short-lived "Scattergories","The Object Is",(1960's-ABC),and the ABC version of "The Missing Links"(in the 1960's).Or did they? They were right when they said that Betty White and Dick Clark were legends. He sure is.They both are.

Well, I think it was mainly his work for American Bandstand that Dick was being recognized for. But I made this thread for this board because his contributions to the game show world were mentioned throughout the telecast.

Donny Osmond mention that Dick "taught me how to host a game show." Plus Chubby Checker can still twist - holy cow!
