Vince Neil was stopped early this morning in Las Vegas by police who believed the Motley Crue frontman was driving drunk, TMZ reports.

Neil is in custody at the Clark County Jail with bail set at $2K.

It's not the first time the musician has been in trouble with the law. In 2002, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a music producer. He later pleaded no contest to the charges.

A year later, in 2003, Neil again pleaded no contest to charges he attacked a prostitute at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada.

In 2004, an arrest warrant for misdemeanor assault was issue for Neil after he reportedly hit a sound engineer at a show he was playing in Texas.

you would think that he would still remember the harsh lesson he learned about drunk driving when he killed his friend Nick "Razzle" Dingley, the drummer from Hanoi Rocks back in 1984.

I'm surprised the article above didn't even mention this "minor" little tidbit from
1984. That was an incredible big deal. It basically kept Hanoi Rocks from becoming a big name in America, as they were on their way to becoming. They broke up, but after that, Motley Crue adopted their uber-glam look, but guess where they got it from? ohno:

He's not washed up, since Motley Crue are still as popular as they've ever been, but yeah, he has needed to grow up for many a moon.

He doesn't strike me as someone who learns from his mistakes - what a shame.
