did a manufactcuer ever come out with a complete series set, after you had bough individual seasons of the series, and now you're wishing you had waited and bought the whole series?
For me, MPI released all 5 seasons of "THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW" after I had already bought seasons 1, 2, and 4.

All the time Brother --all the time!! What bugs me even more is when I buy a complete set and then they come out with a new complete set. I Love Lucy

It depends.
Sometimes the Boxed set is large and bulky, hard to store and inconvenient to access. So I'm content with my season sets that fit nicely on a shelf. (I Love Lucy)
But sometimes, as an incentive they add "extras" to the boxed set that were not included on the season sets. Then you're stuck with deciding if its worth upgrading or not.
