I noticed when I was watching the tv movie on the complete 4th season dvd this morning and I noticed that there are so many left out scenes that were inportant to the plot of the movie. The beginning sequence is way better now but syndication messed it up. The missing part that I found crucial is the scene when the girls go to Mrs Garret's hotel room and start complaining about the school they are temporarly going to and the scene goes on to Mrs G letting them know that it is okay for them to roam around Paris but the sydicated episodes cut off when the girls enter her room and part 2 opens with Jo walking through the streets of paris. If there are so many scenes that we missed before I wonder what the Australian movie is going to be like.

I'm just wondering if FOL and Alf will be on Blu-Ray ever.

I am about halfway through this one and I started watching it on a link that someone posted here but the video kept stopping and starting over so I guess I'll just watch the one that I taped off of Logo. Well, at least I can get the jest of it. Hopefully I can watch it uncut soon

It wasn’t meant to be chopped into four episodes, but the syndicator can make more money including it in the regular syndication package than trying to sell it as a stand-alone movie. Fortunately, the DVD has it uncut.

I actually enjoyed this movie more than the show. I think it was the absence of laughter that made it so much better for me. Plus I loved Nancy MckKeon in it. She was amazing and fully deserved her Emmy.

She never won an Emmy! lol A former poster said that in another older thread, but they were totally wrong.

Nancy did win a Young Artist Award for FOL, and the Paris TV movie, but she never won an Emmy for anything ever.
