Tiki Barber claims he's out of money and unable to pay the divorce settlement requested by his wife after losing his job on the "Today" show because of the scandal created when he ditched his family for an intern, reports the New York Post's Page Six.
The "Today" show ended his $300,000 contract through a "morality clause," which states that stars can't be embroiled in public scandals, the story says. Still, although he hasn't been on air in months, his contract actually ended last month.
Barber left his eight-months-pregnant wife for a former NBC intern, and his wife gave birth to twin girls last month. He and his wife are now trying to reach a divorce settlement, the story says.
Representatives for Barber, his wife and the "Today" show declined to comment.
