To be the worst artist in music history wouldn't you first have to be an artist? William Hung wasn't in the music business long enough nor did he achieve enough to be called an artist. That's why he wasn't named for this distinction.

I agree with you, Charles, and I also take umbrage at the inclusion of Air Supply and Richard Marx. Yes, their music was/is sappy, but in a good way (at least to me).
