I was watching the episode "Sophia's Choice" last week and at the end the girls all made a pact to live together and take care of one another no matter what. Rose says "What happens when there's only one of us left." (Sophia replied to it...)

This brought a little tear to my eye...how ironic that she would be the one that said that.

I watched that episode last night. The whole episode was very sad for me, regarding the ladies health problems and so on.

Especially made me think of Estelle's Demetia which had been misdiagnosed a couple of times. Very much reminded me of the friend in the episode who had something similar and wasn't looked after properly.

Yeah, and it's REALLY ironic that Sophia said "Don't worry,I'll still be around".Or something like that. And it's even more ironic that Estelle Getty(Sophia)was the first to die.

when I first heard about Rue's passing, I thought of the same thing...then almost cried. :( Very strange.

That has to be one of the biggest tear-jerker lines in the entire series, given the irony that Betty White out-lived all three other women.
