It's amazing how much Ms. Pease has conquered her demons in the 17 years since this interview. She went through SO much - and God bless her for hanging in there!!!

What an incredible story. I had never heard before about the the terrible and abusive childhood that Patsy had. It's mind boggling that she was able to work for 8 and a half years on "Days" while dealing with her demons at the same time. I'm. glad to hear that she conquered so many of those demons. She is a beautiful and courageous woman. God bless her!

She is indeed a survivor. Since her controversial exit from DAYS in 1992 (the actress hired to take over the role of Kimberly, Adriana Chase, didn't click with viewers. She was let go and Kimberly was written off as having left town), Ms. Pease has returned to the show many times, mainly for weddings, Christmases and funerals. Her most recent DAYS appearance was just aired last week at Alice Horton's memorial service.
