(New York) While watching Friday’s USA/Slovenia World Cup match at his local bar, casual soccer fan Dan Murphy wowed his friends with anecdotes about his first season in junior league soccer.

"I'm not saying I was the best forward in my county, but I was probably the best in my league," Murphy crowed. "My coach said that I could move up to the fifteen year old division any time I wanted to. That's pretty darn good for a twelve year old."

Murphy was later heard saying he quit playing soccer year later because his new coach was an a**hole and he wanted to go to karate camp.
