View Full Version : Favorite seasons of Diff'rent strokes
Harmony233 06-20-2010, 11:03 PM What is everyones favorite seasons of Diff'rent strokes?Seasons one and two was pretty good but my favs is season 3-5.Some of season 6 was okay until they brought in Maggie and Sam and had Mr.Drummond get married.Season 7 was horrible it seemed to be mostly about Sam.The last two seasons diff'rent strokes seemed to get away from what it was about.Poor Willis hardly seemed to be in any episodes the realtionship between Willis and Arnold seemed to be ignored most of the time.
catlover79 06-21-2010, 03:03 AM Probably the beginning, when everything was fresh and new. Also loved the Facts of Life crossovers.

Larenz09 06-21-2010, 08:51 AM I remember the episode where Arnold (Gary Coleman) wanted to take up ballay dancing, and Willis (Todd Bridges) didn't want him to and tried to get him not to, because he felt embarrassed being Arnold's older brother because he thought that Arnold looked like a sissy doing ballay dancing.
Willis was probably afraid that Arnold would probably become gay and he couldn't deal with it, so he talks Arnold out of it to protect HIS integrity to try to make HIMSELF look good with his friends. :)

That episode was funny ecspecially when Willis called Arnold a girl and Arnold brought out all of Willis girly things like his bikkini underwear.

Yeah, Willis was being selfish keeping Arnold from doing what he liked to do, which was ballett dancing. He wanted Arnold to do something that MEN liked to do, such as playing baseball, football, basketball or golf.
That way, Willis would feel that Arnold wasn't so girly acting.

Johnny be good! 07-30-2010, 01:11 PM I liked all 8 seasons equally, despite the plot changes.
Natalie1969 10-06-2010, 11:27 AM I liked all of the seasons equally even 6,7, & 8 when Maggie and Sam came along. It was a breath of fresh air having them on the show.
