First, I am not sure why they keep stressing "filmed before a live audience" because those laughs sounded canned to me. Second, while there were lots of jokes, I just don't see that much chemistry between them. I think it is going to be up to the writers and the actresses to sort of make that mesh more, or there may be problems down the road. The show has great potential I think, but unless they pay careful attention to the development of the characters, the writing won't be enough to save them.

I hate the idea of TV Land having original programing but I'll give this show a chance. I don't think that the prieviews gave it justice. There were some funny lines in the first episode. Valerie Bertinelli said that this show was going to be like Sex & The City except in Cleveland. If that's going to be the case then no thanks! Time will tell.

"I know, right?!"

Her character kept saying that. Is that going to be her catchphrase?

I don't care if it's a studio audience or a laughtrack, I love it. I'm tired of these single camera shows that pretend to be sitcoms. A Few like the Middle and Modern Family are good but most of the rest aren't funny. I found HIC to be a hoot. The critics don't know what they're talking about.

I think it's a great show and the cast does have chemistry. The whole thing about having it be shot in front of a live audience is really not a bad thing there are some other shows that used to do that alot. But I do love this show and the casting of the characters is great.
