Does anyone remember this case - a group of two or three robbers would break into houses in the middle of the night while the residents were asleep. The robbers wore ski masks and carried weapons. They would wake up the residents and force them to open safes, lead them to valuables etc. I remember a re-enactment of one such robbery where the robber said to a victim (ostensibly as the robbers were leaving) "don't bother calling the law...we are the law".

I believe there was an update that a man was arrested for an unrelated burglary. It was believed that he had some information on this particular gang of robbers, but he refused to cooperate with authorities.

Does anyone know if the robberies continued, or if any further arrests were made relating to this case?

Well they said the statute of limitations expired or was about to
