Not sure what happened but after season 4 she just became a GOOFBALL-lol Kind of like a Female J.J who everyone else either laughed at or yelled at-lol

I think because she was in the middle of puberty and became the "awkward" teen.

That jheri curl with pony tail was a major step up from the afro IMO.
