Sure, we all hoped Kevin & Winnie would wind up together, but it seemed more realistic that they remained friends but each had moved on with seperate lives.

Almost from the beginning of this series it seemed inevitable that Kevin and Winnie would somehow end up together. So it was a very refreshing plot twist when that didn't happen. As mentioned it was also realistic. After all how often do childhood sweethearts ever end up together? I know my childhood sweetheart and I didn't end up together.

Interestingly, Fred Savage in real life married his childhood sweetheart. I thought that was a bit of justice to make up for the sad ending of what was a great show. I hope they stay married forever!

I agree! Of course I wanted them to marry, but it was quite understandable that they did not. It made it "real".

Yeah i wanted those two people to get married and have kids but it never happned people for generations will wonder who kevin married
