Shortly after the death of Gary Coleman, I posted a thread called "It Happened Twice". The thing that happened twice was that this show's Kari Michaelson performed with our late friend Gary. In my source of information is correct, the first time took place even before there was a "Gimme a Break!". She made a one-time guest appearance of "Different Strokes". By 1983, "Different Strokes" had been on for five years and "Gimme a Break!" two. They were both still prime-time favorites. The success of these two series is probably what caused the performers to be picked for the TV film "The Kid With the 200 I.Q.". Since the time that I posted this message, I have since bought a magazine with Gary Coleman's picture on the cover. One thing that the article concentrated on was how little success he has had in anything other than "Different Strokes". As I am sure that most of you know, it is like that with a lot of child actors and actresses. In any case, there were brief mentions of a few other movies and series that he made appearances in. However, not a word about his movie with Kari! I wonder if she has read the same article and is insulted by the situation!
