Reunions, plus rare screenings, will be part of inaugural Paleyfest Rewind celebrations

Paleyfest Rewind, the Paley Center for Media’s inaugural summertime celebration of classic television shows, will be held June 15-21 at the Paley Center in Los Angeles. The event will mix rare archive screenings with cast reunions of popular TV shows.

Panel discussions

There will be panel discussions with David Jolliffe, Karen Valenine and Judy Strangis from 1969’s “Room 222” (7 p.m. June 16); Stanley Livingston, Barry Livingston, Tina Cole and Tim Considine from 1960’s “My Three Sons” (6 p.m. June 19); and Jerry Mathers, Tony Dow and Ken Osmond from 1957’s “Leave It to Beaver” (7 p.m. June 21).

Archive screenings

Also featured will be rare screenings of “Cinderella,” a 1965 TV musical starring Lesley Ann Warren (7 p.m. June 15); “A Chance to Live,” a two-hour “Police Story” movie from 1978 starring David Cassidy (12:30 p.m. June 18); “That’s Life,” a 1968 series starring Robert Morse that was a cross between a sitcom and a musical variety show (7 p.m. June 18); “The Mothers-In-Law,” a 1967 sitcom starring Eve Arden and Kaye Ballard that was produced and often directed by Desi Arnaz (12:30 p.m. June 19); “Love on a Rooftop,” a 1966 sitcom starring Judy Carne and Peter Duel as newlyweds (12:30 p.m. June 20); and “Laura,” Truman Capote’s 1968 rewrite of Otto Preminger’s iconic film noir, starring Lee Bouvier, George Sanders, Robert Stack and Arlene Francis (3 p.m. June 20).

I remember Judy Strangis (Room 222) as Dyna Girl in the Krofft Saturday morning show "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl"! (Electra Woman was played by Deidre Hall who is best known as Marlena Brady on Days of our Lives)
