According to the IMDB: "Two versions of the episode that introduced Robin Williams as Mork from Ork were broadcast." How many HD episodes featured Mork, and what are the difference between the various versions plot-wise? Are any of these episodes considered the official "pilot" of M&M? Last, but not least, what are the episode titles, and what syndication package are they included in (HD or M&M)?
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely, Steve B. :)

Mork appeared on "Happy Days" twice. In 1978 in the episode "My Favorite Orkan" and in 1979 in the episode "Mork Returns".

As for how many HD episodes in which Mork appeared:
The episode titled My Favorite Orkan in which Mork makes his first appearence. That episode had two different endings. The first had Ritchie's experience with Mork being just a dream and then Robin Williams playing a guy asking for directions and thinking Ritchie is a bit crazy because he thinks he's Mork. Then when the show was picked up as a spin off they re-shot the ending with Mork reporting to Ork and saying that he made them think it was just a dream and he's now being assigned to Earth.
The next time he appeared was not exactly an episode of HD but the first show of M&M where he tells the story of how Fonzie set him up on a date with Laverne DeFazio. They used the HD set, but technically it wasn't a HD episode.
Later on there was a HD episode "Mork Returns," where Mork dropped in when the HD gang was celebrating Marion's Birthday. He wanted to learn about relationships and asked Ritchie and Fonzie for help.
As far as I remember that's about it.

Was the second ending of Mork's first appearance shown in syndication or just on ABC in 1978?

It began when the episode was first re-run on ABC. It was then placed into the syndicated version. I don't recall it ever being shown in syndication without the re-shot ending.
