I was on the MeTv website and clicked on the contact button and under general feedback I basically told them how we need more classic tv because no many channels air these awesome shows and asked them would they consider going national. 2 day later they resonded and told me if they get enough emails they might consider going national it is not a sure thing but it is worth a try. Send emails to them and hopefully once they get tons we wiil have it in the other 48 states

MeTv may want to go national and even if they got millions of emails they may not be able too..reason? WGN America !!

I wouldn't be surprised if Tribune had some kind of agreement between their WGN and the cable/sattellite provides stating that they can be the only "Chicago" station to be seen nationwide even though WGN America airs a lot of stuff not seen on WGN channel 9. A similar agreement with Denver's KDVR back in the 80s was the reason why Tribune's KWGN never went national, only KDVR could had done it.

Plus I don't think it would worth it for MeTv to go nationwide even if WGN is out of the picture..only because of legal reasons. Example...say MeTv shows a program like One Day at a Time only to get sued by some station say in Pennsylvania becuse they have the "exclusive" rights to air One Day in their area. Nah too much legal stuff.

WHO?!? ODAAT hasn't aired anywhere locally in eons and I doubt those exclusivity deals cover shows that are that old.
