With which castaway would you like to celebrate the 4th of July?

Ginger-but only if she wears a dress patterned after an American flag.

Gilligan-if he brings some sparklers.

Mary Ann-if she brings potato salad.

I'd have to choose the Skipper. Here's why:

I think he could get some fireworks going but he'd also protect the ladies from
them if they were scared (like me)--he'd shoot them far enough away.
He'd also have a good sense of patriotism and a good sense of the
right kind of food.


I wouldn't trust Gilligan around fireworks and I also think he might get too
wild with them. Maryann would get the food right but that would be it.
The Howells would put on a magnificent fireworks display but I can't see
them providing the right kind of hotdogs and hamburgers.

So..the Skipper...(of course, with some other people in the party!)
