Katy Perry to Host 2010 Teen Choice Awards

Singing sensation Katy Perry will host the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, the Live Feed has confirmed.

According to the report, Perry, who performed Sunday at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, will host and perform at the show, which airs Aug. 9 on Fox.

Nominations will be announced at a later date.




Perry, who is engaged to Get Him to the Greek star Russell Brand, rose to fame in 2008 with number-one single 'I Kissed a Girl.'

Her current single, 'California Gurls,' is number two on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Glee" Guys to Co-Host Teen Choice Awards

Make room, Katy Perry, because the guys of "Glee" are joining you as co-hosts of the Teen Choice Awards.



Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith and Mark Salling will join the pop star for the 12th annual award show honoring the hottest in film, television, music, sports and fashion, as voted by teens.

"Glee" has received 13 Teen Choice Awards nominations.



The Teen Choice Awards airs Monday, Aug. 9 at 8/7c on Fox.
