Jesse Williams Made Series Regular on "Grey's Anatomy"

Fan favorite Jesse Williams has been promoted on ABC's medical drama "Grey's Anatomy".
According to the Ausiello Files Williams will return as a full-time series regular for the show's seventh season in the fall. He joined the show last October playing Dr. Jackson Avery, one of several new characters who joined the cast in season 6.
Last month the show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, said that she would "fully advocate" for Williams to stick around.
The seventh season of "Grey's Anatomy" is due to premiere on ABC in September 2010.
