I thought I would pass this along to see if anyone here knows anything about this story someone posted on IMDB back in April of this year...

About two years ago I saw a PBS fund raiser along with a Gleason special.Jackie's wife Marilyn and her son appeared during the fund raising breaks and mentioned they were going to "open the vault" and release the original 1952-57 "The Jackie Gleason Show" shows with commercials.Her son said the 1952-57 shows had never been shown in reruns and had never been viewed by the public since their original airing.What happened? Were these ever released?
