Which one DIDN'T you like very much?Of the four,Dorothy was NOT my favorite.

The reason I chose the Dorothy character was this:She was too bossy,too strict,and seldom--if ever-smiled.Oh,sometimes she did,but not often.I don't think the character knew how to "lighten up".

I loved them all! The complimented each other so well. It is a testament to the writing and acting of "The Golden Girls" that you had four characters that worked so well together. "The Golden Girls", to me, is the modern day "I Love Lucy". It is a show you can watch over and over and like wine, it just gets better with age.

I love them all, my favorite is Rose but I love them all.

Dorothy and Sophia got on my nerves from time to time but I still love them. I love all my girls. Rose is my favorite though.

Sofia. She was funny and I love all the girls, but Sofia was just unnecessarily mean-spirited at times. They excuse her meanness early on in the series because of her stroke, but there are times when she's just plain sour.

I'd have to say Dorothy, even though i liked them all. My favorites were Sophia and Rose. Blanche definitely had her funny times too.

I've always noticed that as well. First they explained her crude behavior because of a recent stroke, but when they did their flashbacks to when Dorothy and Sophia were younger (and living in NYC), she had the same crude personality.

Sophia. They could have done just fine without her.
