Has anyone ever called an obscure letter, not used a lot by contestants, like Q,X,V,Y,and Z,either in the regular round or the bonus round? The reason I ask this,is because in tonight's episode, the bonus round puzzle was "Savvy Shopper",and the contestant got it right winning $35,000(surprising everyone, the contestant,Pat and Vanna)

I distinctly remember one episode, where celebrities were playing. It was a brand new puzzle, no letters revealed or called, and Little Richard spun $5,000, and he asked for an "X". I was incensed beyond belief.

That's the only memory I have of an obscure consonant being called. Incidentally, while I don't remember the puzzle, I do remember it not having an "X" in it; big shock...

On tonight's episode,a couple of women contestants called an "X",it WAS in the puzzle, and they won,and went on to win $45,000 in the bonus round.
