mildly interested in The Event but won't be home at that time
was interested in Hawaii Five-O but there's no way I'm watching it against Castle.
Tuesday
Glee
White Collar/Life Unexpected
Covert Affairs
Was interested in No Ordinary Family but won't watch against Glee. Same thing with Raising Hope vs. White Collar/LUX.
When Covert Affairs ends I might try out The Good Wife.
Wednesday
The Middle
Better Together
Psych
When Psych ends I'm actually interested in all 3 broadcast networks. The Whole Truth sounds the best of them, unfortunately it will be one of the first cancellations. Obviously LOLA has the best chance of a full season.

I would check out "Mike and Molly" if my schedule had any wiggle room. We'll see...if "S&^%" flops, maybe I'll try it out.
As far as show times go though, I tend to watch a lot back on weekday mornings before school and weekends. I tend to watch "Soup" on Monday mornings before school, and I tend to watch "Chuck" live, download "House," and watch the CBS comedies later that night on playback. I tend to watch "Middle" right after "Modern Family."
As far as Thursdays go, I'll watch COMMUNITY live to help the ratings! Big Bang Theory will be fine!

New Fall 2010 Sitcoms Preview

Outsourced looks, far and away, to be the best sitcom of the bunch. Friends with Benefits also seems like a worthwhile show. Running Wilde seems a bit strange but could be good. The two CBS sitcoms I can't really tell...
Pavan 06-05-2010, 12:49 AM Outsourced is the worst one.
Mr. Television 06-05-2010, 09:38 AM Outsourced is the worst one.
That seems to be what most critics think too.
DSfan 06-05-2010, 02:30 PM Outsourced is the worst one.
Until you can back that up with ratings, why would you say that?
Watching the preview, I actually laughed out loud more than once. It is an original concept that looks funny. All the other sitcoms are about a group of friends who are trying to figure out their love lives - come on, how many times have we seen that already and they don't look to be that great on top of that. And Bleep My Dad Says, seriously, just reading that title I could never watch the show. If someone asked you "hey what are you watching on tv?" and you answer "I'm watching Bleep My Dad Says, how awkward is that? Just because William Shatner is in it doesn't mean it's going to be good.
You guys are probably right, Outsourced will get terrible ratings and will be cancelled after 13 episodes or something. I find, though, that there a lot of sort of "niche" sitcoms, I guess you could say, like this one that only some people find good and get cancelled very quickly.
I remember "Welcome to the Captain" in 2008. I thought that was a quirky, fun-loving sort of show that many people would enjoy watching. It got cancelled after about 5 episodes. What really bothers me, also, is that these mid-season replacements (yes, I know Outsourced isn't mid-season) tend to be better than the regular shows yet do not stand a chance at having more episodes made.
Does anyone remember the sitcom "Big House" from around 2004 on ABC? It lasted 6 episodes and was very funny. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_House_(2004_TV_series)
You'd be lying if you told me that, say this was pitched to TBS instead, it would probably be "ad-supported cable's number 1 sitcom for the last 5 years"
Pavan 06-05-2010, 02:43 PM Worst one "quality" wise. I've seen it. It's terrible.
DSfan 06-08-2010, 12:31 PM Worst one "quality" wise. I've seen it. It's terrible.
Ah, thats too bad. I found the preview looked very funny but maybe youre right haha. Ill check it out anyways though.

robyrob 09-05-2010, 06:59 PM i updated my list to reflect some recent schedule changes and my reaction to some of the promos I've seen so far
Du Mont 09-05-2010, 09:38 PM My Fall Viewing
Based on the bumper promos and fall preview specials seen to date, my three most anticipated new series are FOX's 'Running Wilde', NBC's 'The Event' and CBS's 'The Defenders'.
The new series that I'll be sampling this fall are in bold. If not available to watch tv, "Live" choice recordings will bump my "DVR" selections:
Monday:
Live: 'Chuck', 'The Event', 'Castle'
DVR: 'HIMYM', 'Lone Star'
Tuesday:
Live: 'Glee', 'Raising Hope', 'Running Wilde', 'The Good Wife'
DVR: 'No Ordinary Family', 'Detroit 187'
Wednesday:
Live: 'Lie to Me', , 'Modern Family', 'Cougar Town', 'The Defenders'
DVR: 'Undercovers', 'The Whole Truth'
Thursday:
Live: 'The Big Bang Theory', '30 Rock', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Private Practice'
DVR: 'The Vampire Diaries', 'Fringe'
Friday:
Live: 'Medium', 'Supernatural'
DVR: 'Human Target', 'The Good Guys'
Saturday:
DVR: 'Saturday Night Live'
Sunday:
Live: '60 Minutes', 'The Simpsons', 'The Cleveland Show', 'Family Guy', 'American Dad', 'Brothers & Sisters'
Running far ahead of the pack in terms of most anticipated fall series is the new FOX comedy 'Running Wilde', which has already shown roughly an episode's worth of comedy in those jousting 30-second fall bumpers that have been playing all summer on FOX.
DSfan 09-06-2010, 02:28 AM The shows I'm really looking forward to are (in this particular order):
1. Lonestar
2. The Event
3. Blue Bloods
4. No Ordinary Family
5. Detroit 1-8-7
6. The Chase
