:( Today I awoke and learned that my favorite character died, she may be gone from this world but she will always be remembered in a lot of fans hearts. My kids love watching the old episodes and its going to be sad to tell them today that Blanche is no longer with us. I have loved that show for many years it has gotten me through long night of colic with all three of my kids, sleepless nights and fights the girls have always been there. I know Betty will one day have to leave us lets just hope its not next year as all three have died one year after the other. To the families of Rue you have my heart felt sympathy.

Blanche is now with her dear friends, Dorothy and Sophia, her husband George, Big Daddy & Momma, and her beloved Grammy! :)

yes they will they mite not recive fan mail but their legacy will span genirations me and my grandmother watch it and i wasnt born until after the original run but wen my mother left i felt with this show i had four fictional mothers and they still have a loyal fanbase today;)

I'm kinda mad at Lifetime for repalcing the Golden Girls with "charmed" in the 5-7p.m. slot EST. It was a ritual watching them during that time frame. If anyone knows the email address for Lifetime can you please post. Yes, I find it more dificult to watch the GG's now that Blanche is gone, I feel that they are still with us and then I have to remind myself that they have passed.
