TV newsman Ted Koppel's 40-year-old son Andrew has died, reportedly after a daylong drinking binge in New York City.
Andrew Koppel, an attorney for the city's Housing Authority, was found unconscious and not breathing in an apartment in Washington Heights in the early hours Tuesday morning, the New York Post reports.
A spokesperson for the NYPD tells PEOPLE: "Someone called 911. A guy he was with. The call came in at 1:40 a.m. that he was unconscious. He didn't respond, and he was pronounced dead."
