The thing that I am quite surprised about is the fact that, in less than a day, my last thread obtained thirty-one views and not a single reply! Backing up for a minute, I am going to mention that the main theme of my last thread was the passing of Gary Coleman. Given that he was the star of "Different Stokes" and the fact that "Different Strokes" was in the same TV Universe as "Facts of Life", I would think that there would be at least a few people expressing their words of sorrow! In any event, another show that was in the same Universe as these two was "Silver Spoons". Because of this, I recently posted a message on the "Mad About You" page called "Silver Spoons". That tread now has twenty views and zero responses. I have since posted another message on that page called "A Sad Coincidence". That thread now has nine views and zero replies. The coincidence that I was referring to was the passing of Gary Coleman only hours after I wrote about a show in the same TV Universe as his show! Now that I have gotten all of this sadness out of my system, I think that I will post a thread just for fun! The fun is going to be in telling you guys what in the world, this show, Gary Coleman or "Silver Spoons" has to do with "Mad About You"! See you in a couple of minutes!

i think that you are trying too hard to get replies - many people may not see the same connections you do between all these different shows, or may be fans of one show but not necessarily the other.

i personally find some of your threads just confusing; you might get more replies if you just participated in existing threads or kept the topics of your threads more geared to topics directly related to the shows of each board they are on.
