I always appreciated the mystery of Carlton, but by the end of the series, don't you agree that Lorenzo Music should've been shown to the fans?

It might have been nice if they had revealed Mr. Music's face in the very last episode. But on the other hand now we can watch the reruns or DVD's and still enjoy the mystery of never having actually seen Carlton. I kind of like that the mystery still continues. Besides, I'd like to maintain my fantasy that Carlton bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain overweight, lasagna loving feline!

I never had a problem with him never being revealed.

Me, either. It's like w/ Maris Crane on Frasier - another classic "never seen" character. Nothing they could show would live up to what you imagined. At least w/ Carlton we had that voice, to sort of get an idea.

No,I liked the fact we never saw Carlton apart from brief glimpses,of a hand or when he's carrying a board from Rhoda's apartment.

Its like Lars,Phyllis' husband on MTM,you have an image of him, quite funny he was never seen.

It may have been a good idea to show Carlton at the end, but I guess since the show was abruptly canceled it was never given any thought. The series did not have a finale.
