I saw it last weekend and i was very disappointed. No action at all. Nicolas had some issues because he was a drug addict, gambler, and he liked prostitutes(nothing wrong with liking prostitutes LOL). Val Kilmer is in this also. Is Harvey Keitel's Bad Lieutenant movie supposed to be like this one? I haven't seen it but i'll check it out eventually.

Well it is a police/crime drama so if you were expecting lots of action then you would be disappointed. It is not that type of film.

No, Harvey Kietel's movie and this one are not at all related. Kietel's movie is more about redemption. They are similar in the sense they are both on drugs and get involved with illegal activities but they aren't related.

I think you may enjoy that one better, it is more grittier. I haven't seen it in a while though.

I was really disappointed with Slater's Lies & Illusions.

Lies And Illusions wasn't that bad. The previews made it look like there was gonna be a lot of action and it wasn't that much action but it's better than Dolan's Caddilac. LOL@Cuba Gooding Jr wearing makeup in Lies And Illusions hahahahahahahahahaha. That was my first time seeing him play a bad guy. You liked Bad Lieutenant? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I liked this movie too, the way Cage portrayed someone with chronic pain.
